About Coach Giam Teck Choon
Coach Giam started to work as a swim coach in year 1998. He attended the Singapore Swimming Coaching Course which was jointly conducted by the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) and the Singapore Amateur Swimming Association (SASA) in 1999. Now both organizations have renamed to Sport Singapore and Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) respectively. He has also completed the National Coaching Accreditation Programme (NCAP) Level 1 in Singapore and the home study course from USA - The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 1: Foundation of Coaching. He is an accredited swimming coach within the Singapore National Registry of Coaches (NROC). He is also an accredited SwimSafer Instructor with Sport Singapore. In short, he is certified locally in Singapore to be a swimming coach.

Started swimming since after knee injury in 1992. Due to that, I was advised by doctor to refrain from doing any land-based sports or exercises as it will cause impact on my injured knee. Well, that's why I started to learn swimming on my own!
I learnt swimming in a very different situation as compared with others - self coach. Due to this situation, it allows me to create a totally new but logical with specific sequence that teaches you to swim more efficiently and more gracefully without struggle. The teaching instructions provided by me are highly unconventional and yet effective to let you learn to swim more economy, ease, and beauty without struggle. Moreover, you will be able to understand the relationship between our human body and the water - how does our human body reacts with the water.
